Dance Like Nobody Is Watching

We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage. We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire.

The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when?

Your life will always be filled with challenges. It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway. Alfred D Souza said, "For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."

This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have. And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time ... and remember that time waits for no one...

So stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter, until you are off welfare, until the first or fifteenth, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink, until you've sobered up, until you die, until you are born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy...

Happiness is a journey, not a destination.

Thought for the day :
Work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one's watching.

To all a good day. Miss You Ruth.
God Bless

Prayers and Thoughts to the Galaway Family.

where would you go that i cannot follow?
for how long must i wait until we meet again?
what would i do in times that i miss you?
where would i go in times when i long to see you again?
how must i spend the nights without you?
how do i bear each morning that you’re not there?
shall i ever smile again? will i ever laugh again?
will i ever face the world again knowing that im not alone?
why must you leave me? why must i cry these tears
when you’re not here to wipe them all away?
why must i suffer the empty days without my beloved?
why must i dream without you by my side?
the days shall never be the same again
i will never be the same again
without you the life of my soul,
the joy of my heart, the light in my eyes,
the hope of my dreams, the comfort of my lonely nights,
without you my beloved, i grieve and cry,
i grope and stumble in the dark,
i weep with all my soul i desire with all my heart
i let go of all of me that you took away with you
i keep all of you that is in me,and will always remain in me
wherever i may go i wait and pray and hope
i will look forward to each brand new day
thankful for all that i’ve had and will always have
thankful for the sun that shines again
believing and hanging on believing that life will go on
it can’t help but go on it shall go on
and in so going there really is no end
only mornings and evenings and life that never ever ends.
My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to Ruth Galaway & Family.
Love You all, Jason

Get what you live for not what you wish for

You don’t get what you merely wish for. You get what you live for and what you work for.
The life you experience does not depend on what happens to come your way. The life you experience is based on how you choose to live it.
The priorities that matter in your life are not the ones you just talk about. Your true priorities, the ones that determine which way your life proceeds, are the ones you consistently act on.
You have the opportunity right now, today, to bring great quantities of richness and fulfillment into your life. Yet that richness will not come from what you wish for, or what you talk about, or what you plan to do someday.
That richness will come from what you actually do with the time and the energy and the resources you have available to you. That richness will come from working the possibilities that are uniquely yours.
Skip right on past the wishing for and talking about and planning to stage. Get right to work on your best possibilities, and experience the unmatched joy of bringing them fully to life.
Still feel lick garbage. Guess I will have to break down and go to the doctor. ick.
To all a blessed day

Your the Expert

You are the world’s leading expert when it comes to your own life. You know better than anyone else what you truly desire, what’s most important to you, and what you most enjoy doing.
It’s always helpful to consider the advice and opinions of others. Yet it’s rarely ever a good idea to let anyone else make your decisions for you.
A lifetime of experience has given you a unique and valuable perspective on what’s best for your life. When you’re seeking some good advice, be sure to listen to your own.
Yes, it’s easier to blindly follow someone else’s advice than it is to think for yourself. Plus, when things don’t work out you have someone to blame.
You’re far better off, however, following your own best instincts when it comes to the direction of your life. Sure, that means you must take full responsibility, and yet with that responsibility comes the possibility of real fulfillment.
Listen to others, learn from others, and let their positive examples inspire you. Then decide for yourself, move confidently forward and live the life you were truly meant to live.
Live like an expert. To all a good day and a better week.
Hopefully I can shake being sick this week.

Rules To Live by, Even when Life Stinks like a skunk

This is something we should all read at least once a week!!!!! Make sure you read to the end!!!!!!

Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio .

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written.
My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.

5. Pay off your credit cards every month.

6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.

8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.

9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.

10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.

11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.

12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.

13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.

15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.

16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.

17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.

18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.

19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.

20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.

21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.

22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.

23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.

24. The most important sex organ is the brain.

25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.

26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'

27. Always choose life.

28. Forgive everyone everything.

29. What other people think of you is none of your business.

30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.

31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

33. Believe in miracles.

34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.

35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.

36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.

37. Your children get only one childhood.

38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.

39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.

40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.

41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

42. The best is yet to come...

43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

44. Yield.

45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."

There Are Those

Those who think they have all the answers, don’t. Those who admit when they don’t know, learn.
Those who figure they can gain something by deception, gain nothing worth having. Those who always act in truth, gain power that transcends their actions.
The person who fantasizes about something for nothing, gets nothing. The person who embraces responsibility and willingly puts forth effort, gets control and influence, richness and fulfillment.
There are those who insist on doing what’s right, even when their good deeds go unnoticed. Those who do what is wrong, even when they are clever, eventually are found out.
If you look hard enough you might find a shortcut. But it probably won’t take you where you truly wish to go.
There are those who live with uncompromising integrity. Those who don’t, surely and eventually wish they did.
Too All A Blessed Weekend.

Life is Good

Life is good. Life is what you make of  it. I have a dear friend that is having a hard time right now. Are you having a hard time? Is life letting you down. Well we all have those days and sometimes I think its good to step back and look at your situation. Is life really that bad. NO. If you turn on the TV, or look around you there is always somebody much much worse off than us.Happiness comes from Spiritual wealth. Not Material wealth.
Happiness comes from giving not receiving. If we try hard everyday to bring Happiness to others you can't stop Happiness from coming to you. Read your BIBLE. Its the key as well. Bible stands for Basic Instructions Before Life on Earth. Yes it can and will guide you.And most of all SMILE. a smile goes a long long ways. Remember we all are needed and we all have a purpose so live life to the fullest. So this day is quickly passing. Do something rich and fulfilling with it.This opportunity you have, has no limit. Dare to dream your biggest dreams, right now, for now is when you can live them.Don’t concern yourself with appearing impressive, or with appearing any other way than  you do. You are beautiful. You are the way god made you for a reason.Give yourself fully to being authentic, for that is where the real richness is.Fall fervently in love with all that is now, and all its value will be yours too. Stand in awe of the possibilities, and be carried along with the very best of them.
Fully enjoy the breathtaking wealth of living that this very day is now bringing to you. All the goodness you could ever think to hope for, is ready for you to create.
The real richness of life is in you today. Let it lift you ever higher.
Don't sweat the small stuff. And most of all. Don't live in the past. Or even in the future. Live for now.
God Bless and to all a good day. After all Its Friday.
Today's words were from me and my heart. Enjoy

Don't Sweat The Small Stuff

Relax, and remember how truly beautiful and unique Life is. Relax, and remember how positively powerful you can be.
Don’t waste your time wishing for something outside of you to magically make your life easier. Instead, make life easy on yourself by making full use of your magnificent capabilities.
The pain of what you worry about is mostly in the worry itself. The joy you seek to experience is yours as soon as you allow it to be.
Feel how truly good you know your life can be. Act on those feelings, right now, and the goodness comes to life.
Most of the difficulties are difficult only because you have decided they are. Gratefully embrace them, and you’ll touch their positive value.
Remind yourself how good life can be. From there, you can make it even better.
Don't sweat the small stuff.
Live, Love Laugh....Going to work in the Garden today and fertilize the lawn.
To all a good day.God Bless

Long After

Long after the kind word is spoken, the encouragement remains. Long after the good deed is done, the goodness lingers on.
Long after the moment passes, the joy continues. Long after the lesson is learned, wisdom keeps growing.
What you do in this moment brings value not only to this moment. Much of the value you create now can stay with you always.
The truth of who you are, and of what you do, accumulates as time goes on. That’s why staying focused on what’s truly important can bring such spectacular results.
The sooner you make the effort, the more its power can be multiplied. Value continues to build on top of value, so the best thing you can do right now is create some more of it.
Long after this moment is gone, you can be profoundly thankful for the way you lived it. This is your chance to make it count, now and long after.
To All A good day

Today is the Day

Rainbow taken yesterday in our front yard.

This is no ordinary day. It’s unique, it’s special, and there’s never been another one like it.
This day, filled with new possibilities, will never come again. Truly it is a treasure you’ve been fortunate enough to receive, and you can do with it what you wish.
You can choose to embrace this day’s unique value and create even more value with it. You can decide to stand up, step forward and live this day with all the richness and joy you can imagine.
All sorts of fortunate circumstances have come together to place you in this unique and beautiful day. Now is your opportunity to make the most of that good fortune.
For each difficult challenge, there are a thousand positive possibilities. From every disappointment, come new opportunities for meaningful joy.
Open yourself to the beauty of life that is all around you right now, on this very day. This is a beautiful day, and it is yours right now to live.
To all a good day

HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD. HERE ARE SOME FATHERS QUOTES. SEE YOU SOON!
My father used to play with my brother and me in the yard.  Mother would come out and say, "You're tearing up the grass."  "We're not raising grass," Dad would reply.  "We're raising boys."

He didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.

A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty.

Father! - to God himself we cannot give a holier name.

Love and fear.  Everything the father of a family says must inspire one or the other.

One father is more than a hundred Schoolemasters.

Blessed indeed is the man who hears many gentle voices call him father!

Henry James once defined life as that predicament which precedes death, and certainly nobody owes you a debt of honor or gratitude for getting him into that predicament.  But a child does owe his father a debt, if Dad, having gotten him into this peck of trouble, takes off his coat and buckles down to the job of showing his son how best to crash through it.  ~

A father is always making his baby into a little woman.  And when she is a woman he turns her back again.

Sometimes the poorest man leaves his children the richest inheritance.

A father carries pictures where his money used to be.

The father who would taste the essence of his fatherhood must turn back from the plane of his experience, take with him the fruits of his journey and begin again beside his child, marching step by step over the same old road.

My father, when he went, made my childhood a gift of a half a century.

It is much easier to become a father than to be one.

The words that a father speaks to his children in the privacy of home are not heard by the world, but, as in whispering-galleries, they are clearly heard at the end and by posterity.

Any man can be a father.  It takes someone special to be a dad.

The greatest gift I ever had
Came from God; I call him Dad!

I love my father as the stars - he's a bright shining example and a happy twinkling in my heart.

Happy Father's Day Dad. See you in a few.

Express your true desires in your thoughts, and you have a dream. Express those true desires in your words, and you have a plan.
Express your desires in your actions, persistently and consistently. And you have the attainment of whatever you desire.
Whatever it is you desire to have, to be, or to experience, already exists within the realm of possibility. The more fully you express that desire, the more completely it appears in your life.
Fulfillment is not a matter of getting something you don’t have. It is a matter of fully expressing something you know is already there.
The difference between possibility and reality comes with the living of that possibility. Live the possibilities with all you are, and you make them real.
Whatever you can imagine has already been created in the vast and endless field of possibilities. Think it, speak it, act on it, live it, and let it unfold for all the world to celebrate and enjoy.
Have a great Weekend

Sick and under the Weather

Wow that picture looks black and white but can assure that I took it in color. Perhaps it reflects the way I feel.
Sorry I have not blogged since Tuesday. Have been sick and not feeling good. Today feel better so we will see how it goes. I have learned allot about true friends the past few days. One's that say there your friends and one's that are truly there. You have to ask yourself how many of your friends if you picked up the phone right now would be there. Or would they say they are busy sorry or make some type of excuse. Be thankful for the one's that are truly friends. Friends are the one's that stick beside you when times are tough. Not just there when times are good. Be thankful for what you have and take nothing for granted.
Life brings you great and wonderful gifts each day. Be aware, be appreciative, and be willing to make the best use of every one.
Often, the most valuable of life’s gifts don’t look very appealing when you first encounter them. They appear as demanding problems and complicated challenges.
Be appreciative anyway, and soon you’ll begin to see the positive value that’s hidden in those difficulties. Be appreciative, and you’ll discover ways to make meaningful use of that value.
What you have may not seem like much, yet within what you already have is your connection to all you could ever desire. Truly appreciate what you already have, what you already know, what you already can do, and you’ll activate that connection to limitless abundance.
Be appreciative of the truth, even when it is painful. Be appreciative of each moment, of each circumstance, of each encounter, for everything can add richness to your life when you allow it.
Be appreciative of whatever may come. And you’ll see your own unique way to make it great.
Too all a good Friday.
God Bless

Going Your Way

How do you get the things in your life going your way? Take responsibility for making them go your way.
How do you make sure the day is filled with what you prefer to be doing? Be the person who fills it.
How do you get the most value and fulfillment from your precious time? Use that time to take meaningful, value-producing action.
Do what it takes to take the initiative. Now is when you can decide how your life is going to be and do the work to make it so.
Make tomorrow a great day by preparing for it today. Instead of complaining about how things turn out, do the work that will determine how they turn out.
What would your life look like if it looked exactly the way you wish? Take control, take the initiative, and you can make it so.
In other words get off your butt and make it happen. Take responsibility for your actions.
To All a Blessed Tuesday.
Get Well Soon Ruth and Nat Nat...Miss You.

Your Priceless Legacy

Life does not owe you anything, because life has already given you everything. You owe yourself the courtesy of working to make the most of it all.
You are alive in a universe filled with limitless possibilities. Your purposeful, focused, and persistent actions can transform any possibility you choose into great value.
The abundance to which you already have access is far greater than anything you could think to ask for. However, what you can ask of yourself is to make it all into a meaningful and rewarding experience.
In life’s great abundance you’ll find more than enough energy and resources for magnificent fulfillment. It is up to you to create and express that fulfillment through your thoughts, actions and commitments.
You owe it to yourself and to your best possibilities to fully bring those possibilities to life. You owe it to yourself to make the effort and to do the work to create the unique fulfillment that only you can bring into being.
Your precious, unique life connects you with all that is. Every moment is your opportunity to more fully express your priceless legacy.
Miss You Ruth...
To all a great Monday.. Nat Nat get well soon.

Not Impossible

The only way impossible can continue to be impossible is if nothing changes. And as is clearly obvious, life is always changing with every passing moment.
The concept of impossible is a static concept. Yet you are a dynamic force and as such, impossible does not really apply.
Yes, something may indeed be impossible at the moment. It won’t stay impossible for long.
How many good and fulfilling things have you given up on because they once were impossible? Perhaps it’s time to consider them again.
Whatever you’re able to achieve, comes from the realm of what is possible. And then, every achievement makes even more things possible.
Clearly focus your thoughts on the most wonderful outcome you can envision, and get yourself moving to make it happen. If it’s not possible now, it will be very soon.
Miss You Ruth...
To all a blessed day.

In the doing

Make the effort, make it your best, and then make another. Fulfillment is in the doing.
Planning is helpful, watching what others do is instructive, learning is useful, and connecting with your dream is inspiring. Making the effort ties it all together and gets the job done.
If you’re discouraged or frustrated, disillusioned, unhappy or filled with doubt, get going and get busy. Making the effort will make the difference.
If you’re worried that you’ll encounter too many problems, stop worrying. There will be plenty of problems, and you can create great value by diligently working your way through each one of them.
Don’t waste your time wishing that you had more money or time or resources to work with. You have more than enough to get started, and the more you do the more you’ll be able to do.
Achievement is in the doing, satisfaction is in the doing, and real, lasting fulfillment is in the doing. So go ahead, right now, and get busy doing.
To all a great Saturday.
Miss You Ruth
God Bless

The Choice Is Yours

The choice is yours If you wish to live a day filled with anger, you can choose to be angry. Or if you wish to live a day filled with joy, you can choose to be joyful.
This day does not make the choice for you, and no other person makes that choice either. The choice is entirely up to you.
Why can some people be happy even when times are hard while others are filled with despair even when all is well? It is the individual, internal choice, not the external circumstance, that ultimately determines how life is experienced.
In fact, it is more than that. Because whatever is going on in your own mind and feelings will soon be happening in your outer world.
This day is yours to choose. This life is yours to choose.
As long as you have the choice, you might as well choose the very best. Decide how you truly wish to live, for right now the choice is yours.
 I miss you Ruth...

Have a blessed day and a great weekend.

Starting Point

You are where you are. Accept it and feel the power your acceptance gives you to move forward.
This moment is as it is. Accept its uniqueness and experience the freedom of not having to fight against it.
There are difficult challenges in your life. Accept them and feel the energy that will enable you to rise above them.
Accept that this is your starting point. Instead of placing judgments on it, see the real, positive value that’s already yours.
You cannot change where your past priorities and choices have brought you. Yet you can make use of the wisdom you’ve earned from it all to create a future that fulfills your most treasured dreams.
Lovingly and gratefully accept who you’ve been, what you’ve done, what you have and where you are. For you can now transform it all into what you most wish to be.
To all A Blessed Day
I miss you Ruth.....

Positive Thoughts

It is not easy to think positive thoughts when the world around you appears to be so negative. In fact, it can be as difficult as anything you’ve ever done.
However, it is absolutely possible to fill your mind with positive thoughts no matter what your circumstances. Doing so empowers you like nothing else can.
To think positively is to align yourself with the truth that you’re immersed in a universe of limitless, growing abundance. To think positively is to graciously accept that your life is destined for meaningful and unique fulfillment.
Instead of placing a judgment on your situation, apply your most positive intentions to that situation. Instead of seeing the world as negative, see yourself as a powerful agent of the positive possibilities.
If you find yourself giving in to negativity, you are selling yourself short. The moment you feel the slightest twinge of a negative thought, stop and remind yourself how powerful you are.
Do the disciplined, intentional work to keep your thoughts positive. Because whatever you most consistently think, is where your life will surely and steadily go.
Remember Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.
To all a good day, God Bless
Miss You Ruth

Don't Sweat The Small Stuff

"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. "
"My life has been filled with terrible misfortune; most of which never happened." Us humans fret and worry about most stuff that never even happens.
"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
"There will be two dates on your tombstone And all your friends will read 'em But all that's gonna matter is that little dash between 'em. " Remember "We are not human beings on a spiritual journey.
We are spiritual beings on a human journey." Read the BIBLE- Basic Instructions Before Life on Earth.(quoted Pastor Ben Garate) Our story is very clear. I have been knocked down this week pretty hard but I stand back up and keep running. I will never stop helping others as the shirt on my back is worn down perhaps change to a tank top.Showing my arms that I often rap others with in joy. I shall not be perfect in anybodies Eyes But will never give up and never stop trying for perfection. You can't help everybody all of the time but you can help somebody some of the time.Do your part in helping to no end.Yes Stand Tall my friends. The truth will always cry out.
To All A Blessed Day.--AMEN
