Being Positive with a Smile! Welcome Change

Welcome Change. Yes I have talked about this before but I feel it's worth talking about again.Us humans hate change.We are programmed to like repetition. However in most cases change is good.Often change is for the better. Also don't fight change.Change is going to happen in our lifes weather we let it or not.But by excepting it you can turn the change into even bigger and better things.Don't be afraid of change.Don't get stuck in the past.Most importantly don't be scared of the future.Often we think because someone or something hurt us in the past that it will often happen again.Thats not necessarly true.Learn from our mistakes but don't hold on to the past so tight that you can't move forward.Don't focus on making judgements about what has happened.Inestead use that energy and focus on how to make a positive outcome.Try not to overthink things around you and let your life be filled with great intentions.Don't be sidetraked by worring about what should of been or who is at fault and or what went wrong.Put that energy towards what it is turned out to be and except the change.Find your comfort in not holding on to the past but what the future could be.Open your eyes,take a deep breath,put a smile on your face and except what our Good Lord has in store for you.Often we don't understand why but I don't think we are always supposed to understand the path he leads us on.Just don't be afraid of it and reach out and grab it.Hold on for the ride and like I said,Smile along the way.As always don't forget to forgive quickly,Love always and remind someone today in your life how much you appreciate them.I have met alot of friends and I am thankful for the one's that except me for who I am.My friends keep me going and I have had alot of hits and comments on this blog lately.I am a very open minded person and enjoy constructive chriticizm.Feel free to post comments on my posts.The comments and people reading keeps me going.I thank you all for that.Thanks for visiting my blog today.It's a beautiful Sunny 48 deg. Determination and Patience

I took this on Friday as I took a 4 mile hike in the snow to clear my mind.This is the head of the Black Canyon.A truly beautiful place god has created.

Determination and Patience.Us humans were not programmed with these two skills.This is something we must work on to establish.I have the dermination down but the patience part tests me daily.We all do many things well and we must remind ourselves of the things we do well in order to carry over to the things we don't do well.Use the energy that it takes to do things well on the things you don't do well and soon you will be on your way.Think of the last time you were determined to get something done.Visualize that moment and put your self back there for just a second.Feel that energy and use it wisely.Think what you could do if you used that determination on something you don't do well.So I ask our lord daily to help me with patience.We were programmed to want now but often by rushing things you will loose what you were trying to accomplish.Step back , take a breath and use that energy on something else.In doing so you are showing patience.Determination will then follow and you will prevail.Keep in mind as with anything you don't do well it will take patience in itself to profect it.It will take just as much determination.Then the understanding that it won't be easy.The good things in life will never come easy.But once you achieve you goal it will be more than worth it.I want to thank all for visiting my blog today. Being Beyond Busy

Yes there is such thing as being beyond busy.Sometimes you can actually get more done by slowing down.Take a break breath and enjoy life a little.When you rush through each day your thoughts get scattered.You do a little bit here and a little bit there and then come back and do a little more.This might keep you busy but you will get little done.The energy we spend running back and fourth does not allow any energy for the task at hand that should be completed.So once in a while stop and ask yourself what's the rush? The value you create is not measured by how much you can cram into a set amount of time.The value you create is measured by the quality of results that are created by you once a project or goal is obtained.Except the fact that your not going to get it all done at once.Take joy in giving each goal or dream the time needed to accomplish it correctly and fully.Also except the outcome no matter what the outcome might be.At least you can say you gave it your all and allowed it the time needed to finish.By doing so skys the limit and you will get much satisfaction out of the goals you have set out to accomplish. Thank you lord for accepting me and loving me unconditionaly.Also we often forget to apply this to our every day lifes. Remember you fall in love by chance not by choice but you fall out of love by choice not by chance. Follow your path to fulfillment. No one said it would be easy.No one said it was going to be handed to you either.You will have to work for it and you will have your ups and downs.One thing for sure when you least expect it life will reach out and grab you.You will have fulfilled your dreams but don't settle for just one. Keep expanding,keep dreaming big and keep moving forward.Life is not about just getting by.Life is about reaching higher and building achievments.If your life seems unfulfilling it's not because of the challenges.It's because you choose to let those challenges stand in your way instead of finding the value in them.Us humans hate change.We are set in our ways and ofter stear clear from changes.But often changes are good.Except them and choose to find the good instead of always searching for the bad.You never know, your next dream might be filled tomorrow or even today.So make the best of every moment.Don't regret even a second of your life. This time last year my life was upside down.It will be one year ago this Saturday that I moved here to this beautiful state.My journey has been increadable and I don't regret one moment. I have choosen to look at the good and I am now blessed to be where I am and my life gets better every day. Never,Never,Never Give Up

I know I have posted this one before but it's still one of my favorites.I took this picture a couple years ago near Crawford CO.

Never,Never,Never give up.Yes I have spoke on this subject before but I feel it's so very important.I am amazed at where my life has led me in the past year or so by doing two things. Never giving up and staying positive.Our good lord will lead you on an amazing path if you keep these two things in perspective.The only way to lose is to quit.As long as you continue the effort you will end up on top.Everyone experiences set backs but the one's that always prevail are the one's that stick it out and never give up.It doesn't matter how long it takes.Just stick with it and you will reach your goals.Often when we are stuck in a rut and we tend to give up.But if you stick it out for a little bit longer the rut will suddenly end.Then what a great opertunity you will have to continue forward down the path to reaching your goals.Never,Never,Never quit and you will create the life you choose. Today is a wonderful day and I am so blessed our Lord has given me this day.Take not one moment for granted and always Love unconditionaly. Smile always and don't forget to hold your head high. Yes every step matters. Our good lord will dish you your fair share of ups and downs but for heaven sake don't make things worse when things go wrong. Yes in deed Life is Good! It is what it is.

I know I have posted this one several times.It's one of my favorites.Taken last year over looking Carson City Nevada on a trip out here.

It is what it is.Yes in deed.How you respond to the up's and downs is what makes us who we are.Do you complain or bring yourself down by feeling sorry for yourself when things go wrong? Do you make things worse by letting it slow you down? A negative experience is no reason for being negative. In fact it's all the reason to stay positive.By being negative your forward momentum will slow and even stop.Thats a waste of time and energy. Are you having a bad day? A bad month or even a bad year? Well smile stay positive and move on.After all more than likely it's over or about over.The sooner you stop the negativity the sooner you will find yourself with the solutions to your problems.Just because misfortune affects you doesn't mean it has to control you.I know at times life is unfair,No one understands you and theres never enough time.Well get over it.Use those little speed bumps to propell you foward.No one said it was going to be easy but for god sake don't make it harder by dwelling on the negatives.It don't take a rocket scientists to know that there are problems in this world.And we all have our own problems but complaining and dwelling on them does not fix them.So when knocked down.Choose to stand up.Hold your head high and smile.Tomorrow is a better day and it is what it is.Don't forget to forgive quickly and love always. Don't make excuses

Don't make excuses.It's very easy and human nature to make excuses why not to do something.No matter what the situation there's always some excuse that will lead to doing nothing.There's no reason to argue with them either because it will only lead to more and even bigger excuses.Choose to hold onto your thoughts and act on your dreams.Make your dreams meaningfull and dream big.Dream bigger than the excuses.Say you can instead of you can't.Live for the now and take action now.If your dreams are really meaningfull dreams then no excuse will persuade you.Continue moving forward and continue on your path to following your dreams.Block out the excuses and once you have accomplished your goal you will have forgotten about the excuses. Stay Positive. So much can be acomplished by staying positive. I once had a friend that the Doctor had told he would die in the next few months. By staying positive he lived for more than a year longer than the doctor had predicted by doing nothing more than staying positive.No matter how negative people around you are. No matter how negative situations might seem choose to stay positive.A true positive person is not a reaction to the way things are but a reaction of the way you want things to be.By being positive you will make better decisions and will work forward instead of backwards.By staying positive you will find that no matter what the problem is there is and can be a positive outcome.Choose to turn the negatives into positive and positively continue to move forward. Put your frustrations in check

I took this picture yesterday.My book tells me it's a White Crowned Sparrow.It has a lovely chirp and it seemed to follow me around the property yesterday.

Put your frustrations in check.By putting them in check and not getting caught up in them they will disappear.Small frustrations and even minor problems can lead to bigger problems than needed.But you can choose to not let them develope.When you see frustrations developing step back and put them into perspective.Is it really that big of a deal.Our egos often get the best of us and we seem to blow it all out of proportion.But the reality is that it's a waste of energy and time.When you see them developing put some distance between them and you.Allow your self some space to think through your options.Then pick the best option that lifts you up past the problem and continue moving forward. Put a smile on your face and you will soon find the problem isn't that bad and there was no need to be frustrated.Remember to forgive quickly,Love always and don't forget to smile. Fishing yesterday the Black Caynon.

Let Love be. Well I don't speak much about love because I often am confused about it my self. I believe everyone has there own way of expressing it,Own way of showing it and own way of hiding it. I think our hearts can often mislead us. I think we often forget about the importants of showing one love.I think at times we are upset with love and sometimes we are overjoyed with love. I do believe one thing for sure.
You dont fall in love by choice,You fall in love by chance. And you don't fall out of love by chance you fall out of love by choice. Don't run from or resist love. Let love be your driving force. Doesn't mean that you are in love. This means that you should let love drive you in everything you do. In other words love always.Don't hate. Forgive quickly.Have the confidence to express your love freely.Let love live within you and let love be.After all that's what our good lord wants us to do. Work towards your dreams. Never let anyone on anything stand in your way.It is a blessing that our dreams are not instantly fulfilled.Why you ask? If they were we would never have the pleasure of dreaming them.We would never have the feel of acomplishment after working and obtaining our goals.Having something to look forward to and work towards gives great value to life itself. It is good to reach your dreams however it is also important to hold on to your dreams.Appreciate them and refine them into the best possible dream available for you before they come true. Having to work towards a goal is what makes it worth having.A dream that has yet been reached is what makes it desireable.Dream big and dream often.This will point you in the right direction and soon you will reach your goal. Happy New Year.. Welcome 2012

I took this picture down the street from our house on my way home from Ouray CO. a couple days ago.

Let me start off by wishing everyone a Happy New Year and welcome to 2012. This year I am predicting it will be the best year ever. The reason I say this is I won't except anything else.2011 was an amazing year for me and Im sure we all had are share of up's and downs. For those who know me personaly know that I started all over. After loosing pretty much everything I had worked for in CA for over 10 years and seeing the state that my mother was in I made the life change and moved to CO. It's been a big change and I have done some real sole searching and have grown in many ways. One being this blog. I never thought that I would be able to inspire people and myself by writing my thoughts on a website. I also have taken my photography to another level and have really enjoyed learning about myself and others along the way.Speaking of this blog I want to thank everyone for visiting it. We reached over 1000 visits in less than a year and I am truly greatfull.This year I have some goals and I will not stop until I reach them. I am working on a Website that will promote my blog as well as my new business that is a work in progress. I will be offering my pictures for sale and of course the blog will remain free. I will continue to seek a publisher and are designing a flyer that will be distributed to Airports,Hospitals,Resturants etc. I also will continue to expand my designs and promote the new business which will be called Rocky Mountain Designs. Next I have let my health slide as I felt the need to relax and slow down a bit. So I will get my blood tests up to date and start working out again.Then theres Mom. I am so proud of her in what she has acomplished this year.How ever she has hit a wall which I expected.So I will lift her up and get her over that wall. I have met some wonderfull people and some true friends here and are very thankful for them letting me into there lifes.Those who have done so know it's not easy to move to a small town and make friends.Thank you all and you know who you are. Next I need to start using Spell Check.. amen to this LOL. So Let's settle for nothing less than the best in 2012.Remember a few things as you go through the days and nights. Forgive quickly.
