Need Less

Another picture from my trip last week to Mesa Verde, a panorama.

Need Less is not always an easy concept to live by. We are programmed to keep wanting more and more. The problem with this is that we get so caught up in wanting more that we forget to cherish what we already have. I have often quoted there are two ways to get enough. One way is to keep acquiring more and the other is to need less. Life is much easier if you limit the will to need and enjoy what you already have. Let go of the need to do or have more, enjoy what's already in front of you. This is a change of perspective that can free you of many unwanted worries. It's not the acquiring or possessing that slows us down. It's the constant feeling of needing to acquire that sets us back. Constantly chasing what you think you need is a waste of precious time and it takes away from enjoying what you already have. Most needs are a burden and are not really needed. The next time you think you need something try a different approach. Think, do you really need it or do you want it. Wanting and needing are two different things. Go after what you need and let go of some of the want. Life is to short to sweat the small stuff. Need less and enjoy life a little bit more. Don't forget to love always, forgive quickly and smile along the way.

God Bless
Jason
