Your Past Really Doesn't Matter

Our Beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Life is good.Your time has not been wasted and your efforts have not been in vain. Everything has brought you to where you are now, and this is a very good place to be.From here, you can move forward in whatever direction you choose. Now, you can put your wisdom, your experience and even your regrets to positive, purposeful use.The portion of your life over which you have full control begins right now. No matter where you’ve come from, now is your opportunity to choose precisely where you wish to go.It’s easy to get caught up in thoughts of what could have been, or to fall into discouragement about what didn’t work out. Your best option, though, is to focus on the best of what can be and on enthusiastically stepping forward to make it happen. You are surrounded by a universe that’s filled with great possibilities. Take all of your past experience and put it to work in creating a future of excellence and fulfillment. The harder you try the better the outcome. Never Never Never give up. It's never to late.Whatever the past has been, it has also been very good to you, because it has delivered you here. Now, take that good fortune and put it to good use. Don't forget to let the small stuff go and choose the make all the downs The Small Stuff. It's only as big as we all make it. Break the rules,Laugh Uncontrollably,Forgive quitckly,Smile always and don't regret anything that has made you smile. To all a great Sunday.
God Bless.Jason

Five things that will disapear in our life time.

I did not take this picture but found it quiet cool. This animal is protected and will probably never disappear.

I recieved this in an email and thought it was interesting. I shortened it some to fit in the blog. Enjoy.
1. The  Post Office.  Get ready to imagine a world without the post office.  They are so deeply in financial trouble that there is probably no way to sustain it long term.  Email, Fed Ex, and UPS have just about wiped out the minimum revenue needed to keep the post office alive.  Most of your mail every day is junk mail and bills.

2. The Land Line Telephone.  Unless you have a large family and make a lot of local calls, you don't need it anymore.  Most people keep it simply because they've always had it.  But you are paying double charges for that extra  service.  All the cell phone companies will let you call customers using the same cell provider for no charge against your minutes

3. Music.  This is one of the saddest parts of the change story.  The music industry is dying a slow death.  Not just because of illegal downloading.  It's the lack of innovative new music being given a chance to get to the people who would like to hear it.  Greed and  corruption is the problem.  The record labels and the radio conglomerates are simply self-destructing.  Over 40% of the music purchased today is "catalog items," meaning traditional music that the public is familiar with.  Older established artists.  This is also true on the live concert circuit.  To explore this fascinating and disturbing topic further, check out the book,  "Appetite for Self-Destruction" by Steve Knopper, and the video documentary, "Before the Music Dies."

4. Television.  Revenues to the networks are down dramatically.  Not just because of the economy.  People are watching TV and movies streamed from their computers.  And they're playing games and doing lots of other things that take up the time that used to be spent watching TV.  Prime time shows have degenerated down to lower than the lowest common denominator.  Cable rates are skyrocketing and commercials run about every 4 minutes and 30 seconds.  I say good riddance to most of it.  It's time for the cable companies to be put out of our misery..  Let the people choose what they want to watch online and through Netflix.

5. Privacy.  If there ever was a concept that we can look back on nostalgically, it would be privacy. That's gone.  It's been gone for a long time anyway.  There are cameras on the street, in most of the buildings, and even built into your computer and cell phone.  But you can be sure that 24/7, "They" know who you are and where you are, right down to the GPS coordinates, and the Google Street View.  If you buy something, your habit is put into a  zillion profiles, and your ads will change to reflect those habits.  And "They" will try to get you to buy something else.  Again and again.

All we will have that can't be changed are Memories... So remember take nothing for granted. Live every day as it might be your last. It's later than we all think. Remember to stay positive and never never give up. Life is great no matter what part of the hump you are on. It will have it's ups and downs. The only thing that matters is how you choose to let it affect you. Don't sweat the small stuff. Break the rules now and then,Forgive quickly,Laugh uncontrollably, and take nothing for granted. Smile always. Have a wonderful weekend. God Bless

You get to choose your day

Taken the other night as some clouds moved in over the lake.

Choose your day. Only you hold the power to choose how you live. Choose to live and fill your life with greatness. Everyday is a new chance to fill your life with meaning. Don't get caught up with what went wrong or what might not work. Its better to try and fail then to not try at all. You regret what could of been.
Have high expectations but make the best of what it is or what it becomes. There is no reason to put off until tomorrow what could be today. The possibilities are here and now.You can bring them to life today. If you try and fall short let the short commings be guidlines for improvements.Let each dissapointment remind you of the importance to try try and try again. Never give up and you will reap the rewards and satisfaction that you so desire. So choose to embrace today for what it is and try your very best and the results obtained will be even better. Remember it all starts with a possitive additude and choosing to live today and not wait until tomorrow. Start with a smile. Life is so very short and it's later than we all think. So don't delay choose to live today. Don't sweat the small stuff. Break the rules, Forgive quickley,Love truly,Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret the things that make you smile. The best thinks in life are free.Until the government finds a way to tax you on them. To all Happy Friday.
God Bless

Choose to Make Life Good

Picture taken by me last night. Reflections our our lake looking back at our house. Another beautiful Colorado Night.

Show life today how good it can be. With your attitude and your actions, prove to the world that life is very much worth living. No bad how life seems to be. No matter how much it can drag you down. Remember theres always somebody else that is much much worse off than you.
Do you long to experience real, substantive hope for the future? Then be the living embodiment of that hope with the way you conduct your life.
Is it naive, or even cruel or insensitive to expect the best when things are at their worst? No, because it is precisely from those sincere, positive expectations that life-changing improvements come. It all starts with staying possitive.I often use the words don't sweat the small stuff. Well what if your problem is not small. What if your problem is major. Well only you choose to make it as big as it is. Choose to make it a small problem even if it is big.You could be dying, Your kids could be sick,You could be starving, Your house could burn down the list goes on and on. When weighted against other problems that others are having your problem suddenly is not as big as originaly thought.Even the smallest light can break through the darkest darkness. And that will enable other lights to shine. Finding that light stars with being positive. When there’s no good reason to be positive, be positive anyway. Yes, you can do it, and it will truly make a  difference. Remind life of how good it can be. And make more and more of that goodness in your world.Life is to short to sweat the small stuff.Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret Anything that made you smile The best things in life are free until the government finds out and taxes it. Don't forget to smile.
To all a great Thursday.
God Bless

Value others opinions even if you disagree

(Picture is of my Garden and Arbor)
Let your feelings be your choice. There’s no need for the twists and turns of circumstance to hold your feelings hostage.
In each moment, let your outlook be determined by your highest expectations. Observe the world from a positive perspective, and you’ll see the most valuable possibilities.
You never have to be dismayed in an attempt to be realistic. Though reality is what it is, you always have the choice of what to make of it.
It is easy to think you need to feel sorry for yourself. It is far better, though, to avoid the waste of time and energy that your self-pity would produce.
Your feelings are powerful, and they are yours to choose. Whatever may happen, you always have the option of dealing with it from a position of strength.
In every challenge there is great potential value. Choose to feel powerful and positive. Do let your feelings out but be ware if you trust your heart 100% you often will be misled. Your heart can and will misslead you. It often will overide what is right or what you would normally do. Don't hold others hostage with your beliefs. Listen and value each others beliefs but don't down one for there own feelings or beliefs. We are all different and all have different beliefs thats the way god mad us and that's what makes us unique and speacial. Don't be scared of the outside world with so many different religions, beliefs and ways we sometimes for get the value of others opinions and or beliefs. So we lock ourselfs inside away from others to steer clear of these challanges. I choose to take them full on.Though I might not always agree with others opinions or religions. I value them dearly. Remember we let love happen. It will if we don't fight it and always remember you fall into love by chance not by chioce. We fall out of love by choice not by chance. So next time someone says something or believes something that you don't agree with., Put that smile on and say I value your oppinion but that's not how I see it. Choose to use your strentgh in the moment and a positive perspective and life will come much easier. Also remember that friendship and relationships are a give and take commitment. It can't always be one sided or one way for this to work to find someone that is going to believe in evey belief you believe in you would have to find your clone. It's not possable.
Life is to short to sweat the small stuff.Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret Anything that made you smile The best things in life are free until the government finds out and taxes it. Don't forget to smile.
Happy Hump Day everyone.

Learn to Give and Take

(This picture is the view from where I hiked into the Canyon on Sunday. There is a rope on the tree to the left to assist climbing down)

Instead of constantly seeking acceptance from others, give acceptance to yourself. Accept who you are, wholly and without reservation.
Accept your own brilliant, unique value. Then add immensely to that value by graciously and gratefully accepting the special value of the other people in your life. Regaurdless of there views and oppinions.
Each person is delightfully different, and so are you. Accept and embrace that diversity.
You are inherently worthy, whether anyone explicitly tells you that or not. Give acceptance, to yourself and others, and you will have no need to seek it.
Give acceptance, and you will have no worries about not getting it. Do what you do, not because of how it will appear, but for the real difference it will make.
Accept the goodness that you know is in your authentic nature. Accept yourself, and all that is, and be free to live the abundance without hesitation.
Remember God made each and everyone of us different. No matter how you match up with a friend or loved one there will always be times when you disagree. There will always be times when ones actions are not exceptable in your eyes. But this is where the give and take part of us humans co exsisting. This is the very reason why this world is at war. Often we don't allow ourselfs to give and take. Ok not in agreeence. Then agree to dissagree. No need to start a war over issues. No reason to be let down. We are all different and all percieve life in different ways.I love all and I love the thoughts of others. Weather I agree or not I enjoy the differences in us humans. When somebody says or does something you don't agree with it does not mean that this person is not for you and or a bad person. It means they are different and at that point in time they expressed themself differently than you would. This does not make it wrong.
We wake up each day with two choices.(1) we can count our blessings and be happy or (2) we can cuss our shortcomings and be miserable constantly worry about others actions and opinions. I elect to be happy. Remember to Live, Love, Laugh and always SMILE.
Life is to short to sweat the small stuff.Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret Anything that made you smile The best things in life are free until the government finds out and taxes it.
God Bless You All and have a great Tuesday.

Don't Worry Be Happy :)

Smile and be happy. Don't spend to much of your day worrying., Don't worry about what others think or say. Don't worry about something that might not even happen. Don't worry about not being happy. Don't take everything so serious.Smile and be happy. Life is to short to worry all the time.If you stay possitive and don't worry your on your way to being happy. Over 90% of the things we worry about never even happen. Remember things like Facebook, Twitter,My space is not worth worring over. It's for fun and most of the people on those sites have never even met. How can you worry about what some one says, does or thinks when you don't even know them, there personality and the way they think. The human mind plays tricks on us and we tend to sweat the small stuff. Lifes to short for this and it puts a negativity into our minds and haunts us everyday. Move past it and don't let those thoughts cloud your mind from being happy or being yourself.Be thankfull that your here and look forward to being happy. Being happy starts with being possitive and it ends with a smile.Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret Anything that made you smile The best things in life are free until the government finds out and taxes it.To all a good Saturday

Now is the time to start

The way to find out how much you can do, is to do it. The way to know how far you can go, is to get going.
Most of what you see as impossible is impossible only because you think it is. Stop over-analyzing it, start doing it, and let your actions define what is possible.
If you truly knew all that you were capable of achieving, you would never hesitate to step forward. The positive possibilities have no limit, so don’t impose your own limits on them.
Instead, get busy exploring and expressing the best of those possibilities. Here you are, with dreams, with abilities, and with a day in which to put those abilities to use, so do it.
Find out just how strong and capable you are by putting your strength to a meaningful test. See how much you can do by watching yourself do it.
Dare to dream, and then dare to act on those dreams. Real, fulfilling, meaningful value is yours to create right now, so get busy and do it.
Start today and never give in. Don't sweat the small stuff. Live,Love, Laugh and Smile always.
To all a good Friday..

Take Control Live Life To It's Complete Potential

It’s not their fault. It’s your responsibility.
If you’re not moving forward, what’s stopping you is you. That’s very good news, because it means you are in control of your own destiny.
If you continue to blame and complain and procrastinate and make excuses, you’ll continue to be disappointed with the way life unfolds. When you’re ready to stop all that, and when you really do, and when you choose to be responsible for it all, you dramatically change your outlook for the better.
It is difficult and uncomfortable to take full responsibility for your life and your world. The only thing that’s even more difficult is to not take that responsibility, and to live with the unending regret.
Yes, there are many things you cannot control, and most of the difficult challenges are not your fault. Even so, if you wish to create real fulfillment, the way to do so is by taking responsibility anyway.
This is your life, your opportunity, and your universe of beautiful possibilities. Take responsibility for it all, no matter what, and make it into a magnificent and increasingly joyful experience.
Remember 90% of the issues we worry about never even transpire, Never happen. No need to worry or fret the small stuff. Live Life to it's complete potential. Live,Love,Laugh and most of all SMILE.
If for any reason it keeps others wondering. To all a great Wed... Woo Hoo Hump day is here.
We've made it half way through the week.

Today is the day!

Don’t wait for someday. This is the day, this is the moment, this is your opportunity to live.
Let go of any thoughts of unworthiness or limitation. You absolutely deserve every joy you can imagine and you’re fully capable of creating them all.
Stop settling for what’s merely easy or comfortable or convenient. Give yourself the respect you deserve and take on the difficult challenges that bring real fulfillment.
Give your life some beautiful, meaningful substance today. Remind yourself of how fortunate you are to have each moment, and sincerely, authentically fill those moments with richness.
Acknowledge and be thankful for what you desire to experience, to express, to give and to live. Then, fully engage the power of your purpose and make it happen.
The best of life is never out of reach. It is yours to fulfill, with richness and substance, right now.

And for heaven sake. Don't forget to smile. To all a great Tuesday.

What Would You Do

What would you do, if you could do anything? How would this day be, if you could create it to be just the way you want? (I would go to the Ocean)
What would occupy your thoughts, if you did not have to worry about anything? What actions would you take, if you were sure they would bring what you intended?
What would you say if you were not concerned about what anyone else might think? What would you dream of experiencing, if you were certain the dream would come true?
How would you live, if you allowed your most treasured inner values to be expressed in your outer world? How would you feel, if you could feel precisely the way you wanted to feel?
In fact, on this day and in this place, you can. You can do and say and feel and be precisely the way you would like to be.
Life is entirely what you allow it to be. Imagine, intend and allow your very best vision of life right now, and always.

Remember to Live,Love,Laugh and of course always smile. To all a great Monday.

Be Thankful For What You Have-And Tell A Friend.

Happiness is being where you want to be and doing what you want to be doing. As such, happiness requires nothing more than an adjustment in your attitude.
Wherever you may be, can quickly and easily be where you want to be. Whatever you’re doing, can immediately be what you want to be doing.
You’ll never be happy by wishing for what you don’t have. You can always be happy by accepting and seeing the goodness in what you do have.
It’s essential to have dreams and goals for the future, yet your dreams will not make you happy in the present. In fact, it is your happiness that will bring the reality of your dreams into the present.
What you have is what you have, so make the very most of it. Be happy, be thankful, and you’ll be living at your highest level. See the goodness and the value in your very own experience of here and now. Be happy now, and in your happiness you’ll find and fulfill the best of who you are.

LIVE,LOVE,LAUGH AND MOST OF ALL SMILE...Life's to short to sweat the small stuff. Make a point today to go to a friend or a loved one and tell them how you feel. Tell them you are thankful for what you have and for them being in your life.Sometimes we get so caught up in the everyday BS of this sick and twisted world that we forget the meaning and value of a true frined. Friends till the end.
To all a good Saturday. God Bless

Opporrtunity Of Disapointment

Sometimes a disappointment can be the best thing that could happen to you. It’s difficult when things don’t work out as you expected, and yet it can also be a source of new opportunity.
A cold, hard dose of reality, in the form of a disappointment, will sting at first. And then what happens is, you get stronger.
Disappointment will bring you face to face with some of your most pivotal weaknesses. That provides you with the awareness and the opportunity to grow stronger in ways that really count.
The experience of ineffectiveness will often help you see new ways in which you can be more effective. When you’re clear about what doesn’t work, you are closer to understanding what does work.
There is positive value in every experience. That is especially true when it comes to disappointment.
Look at the disappointment as your chance to come back even stronger. Then pick yourself up and do precisely that.
Don't sweat the small stuff and live life for everyday that it is not what you vision it to be. Live,Love,Laugh and most of all SMILE! Have a great Thrusday everyone.

Be Inspired

Why waste your time and energy, and poison your attitude, by being envious? Instead of being envious, be inspired.
Not only is it impossible for you to live someone else’s life, even if you could do it you wouldn’t really like it. What you can do is joyfully live your own life, informed and instructed by the joy you see in others.
Your greatest fulfillment comes from being you. If someone else’s life looks appealing, the most realistic and effective response is to emulate, not to envy.
Envy is centered in an overwhelming sense of lack and limitation. So if you envy, you push away the very things you desire.
A much more powerful and positive response is to be sincerely thankful for the good fortune of others. When you do that, you’re able to benefit from that good fortune too.
Stop creating envy. And start allowing your very own version of life’s great abundance.

Welcome to Hump Day We Made It Yayyyy, Be thankful for what we have and not for what we think we should have. Don't sweat the small stuff. Be in good fortune, Live,Love and Laugh. And always,Always SMILE.... To all a good WED.
God Bless.

Give it your all!

It is by giving of yourself that you fully understand and appreciate how very much you have available to give. It is by making a small difference, again and again, that you realize what an enormous difference you can make.
Do you ever feel like hunkering down and hiding from life because it has been so cruel and difficult? In fact, your best choice is the complete opposite.
If life has disappointed you, it’s because you haven’t opened yourself fully to its wonder and richness. When life is pushing hard against you, it’s because you’ve been holding back.
The external disappointments are possible only because there is beautiful and worthwhile and meaningful internal value. Let that value freely flow out from you, and delight in the experience as it colors your world in a more positive light.
Life’s goodness is made possible by your vision of that goodness. Your dreams are made real by your commitment to them.
Give the best that you have. And you’ll experience the best there can be.
Remember don't sweat the small stuff. Always smile even if your not happy. It will keep them guessing. Live,Love,Laugh. Have a great Tuesday.

Value Your Time

One of the most worst ways to avoid doing what you must do is to spend your time and effort doing what’s not really necessary. When you’re constantly busy, it can be difficult to recognize or to admit that you’re not getting anything done.
Taking action is good. Yet taking effective, productive, meaningful action is what will move you forward.
When you purchase a product or service from someone else, it’s likely that you demand results in exchange for your money. Get in the habit of being just as demanding of results from your own time and your own efforts.
Pay attention to the results you’re getting, and to how much value those results bring to your life and to your world. If you’re not getting results that are valuable and meaningful, it’s time to change your approach.
Your time is a highly precious and irreplaceable resource. Make sure that whatever you exchange your time for is even more valuable than the time and effort you spend getting it.
Instead of telling yourself that you’re doing enough by merely being busy, demand results. Wisely use your time to bring real and meaningful richness to your world.
Value your time and use it wisely. It's much latter than you think. To all a happy Monday
God Bless.

RIP: Betty Ford

Former First Lady Betty Ford was remembered for being unafraid to speak out about social issues, at a time when politicians' spouses were usually seen but not heard.
Ford, who died Friday at age 93, was not intimidated by the public spotlight, and used her position to passionately promote causes important to her. In the process she helped remove the stigma of speaking out publicly about sensitive issues like alcoholism, addiction and breast cancer.

When asked how Ford would be remembered, presidential historian Douglas Brinkley said it was her role as a pioneer in the women's movement.
"When she became First Lady, our country was talking about the burning of bras and equal rights amendments and the need for sexual liberation, and here was a Republican First Lady who seemed quite fine with a lot of that feminist energy of being ginned up largely from the Democratic left," Brinkley said on "The Early Show on Saturday Morning."
"She had a lot of moxie, she said what was on her mind, and people will remember her as being the perfect spouse. Pat Nixon, of course, left with Richard Nixon, and Pat Nixon was much like a Mamie Eisenhower-style, old-fashioned First lady. With Betty Ford you had a progressive woman who stood on her own two feet, and while she was devoted to her husband, Gerald Ford, she also used her mind and humor in the way she chose to."
One commentator referred to Betty Ford as a "rascal." Brinkley agreed with that assessment: "I remember there's a photograph of her just dancing on the desk in the Oval Office. This was something that wasn't previously done.
"Certainly Jackie Kennedy had brought in a new sense of style and flair and fashion [to the White House], but Betty Ford was a truly liberated woman."
She could also get into trouble some, Brinkley said. "On CBS' '60 Minutes' with Morley Safer, she talked very personally about her children's lives, even her children's sex lives; that got her into some hot water.
"Of course later in life with the Betty Ford Center, that's going to be her lasting legacy. That has done an incredible amount of good for this country," Brinkley said. "Because everybody knows somebody who has a pill addiction or alcohol addiction, and she de-stigmatized it. That's her chief legacy."
In the late 1990s Brinkley spent time with Ford in Rancho Mirage, Calif. "What you quickly learn out there is she's the person who really runs that whole Palm Springs area, meaning she was royalty out in that part of California," he said. "Not only because of her nonstop commitment to the Betty Ford Clinic, but because she was so warm-hearted and generous to everybody around her.
"She made a great presence wherever she went, and her children were deeply loyal to her, so she enjoyed being a mom and a grandma the last 20 years of her life."

Be Thankful

One of my favorites. Blue Heron flying over the lake.
You cannot lose because you already are. Many of those things that seem like needs, are nothing more than comfortable habits.
Abundance is a beautiful and limitless blessing. Yet when you impose needs on that abundance, you make it into a burden.
If you worry about what you will lose, the worry itself creates the loss. Rather than being so worried about losing it, put your thoughts and energy into using it.
When you feel the worry beginning to take hold, make the choice to overwhelm that worry with gratitude. When your thinking gets bogged down with needs, open yourself to more positive possibilities.
Instead of needing to prove you’re right, choose to be lovingly and generously truthful. Instead of needing vengeance, choose the freedom of forgiveness.
You cannot lose what really matters. Don't sweat the small stuff and be thankful for today. Don't let  yesterday waste any of today. To all a have a great weekend.

Lighten up a little will you?

What a great picture. This Moose was crossing the road near my Fathers house between Montrose and Colona Colorado. (Picture not taken by me) But still a good one.
I have been in sort of a silly mood lately so thought I would lighten things up a bit with some funny thoughts and or quotes. Enjoy.

 1. Regular naps prevent old age, especially if you take them while driving.

2. Having one child makes you a parent; having two you are a referee.

3. Marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right and the other is the husband!

4. I believe we should all pay our tax with a smile. I tried - but they wanted cash.

5. Don't feel bad. A lot of people have no talent.

6. Don't marry the person you want to live with, marry the one you cannot live without, but whatever you do, you'll regret it later.

7. You can't buy love, but you pay heavily for it.

8. Bad officials are elected by good citizens who do not vote.

9. Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

10. Marriage is give and take. You'd better give it to her or she will take it anyway.

11. My wife and I always compromise. I admit I'm wrong and she agrees with me.

12. Those who can't laugh at themselves leave the job to others.

13. Ladies first. Pretty ladies sooner.

14. A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.

15. You are getting old when you enjoy remembering things more than doing them.

16. It doesn't matter how often a married man changes his job, he still ends up with the same boss.

17. Saving is the best thing. Especially when your parents have done it for you.

18. It's funny when people discuss Love Marriage vs Arranged. It's like asking someone, if suicide is better or being murdered.

19. There is only one perfect child in the world and every mother has it.

20. It is no exaggeration to say that the undecided could go one way or
another.

Thank God its Friday. To all a good day. Have some lawns to care to and a garden filling up with weeds.

Lots to Say

Lots to say today so I have to Blogs. This picture was taken by me last night. We have a coiled up piece of rope hanging from our Pole Barn and momma humming bird built her nest in it. Look at the little babies. Love um. Not to ofter you get to see baby humming birds. We quietly left them alone and will try not to go in there and leave them be.
Tonight we have Main In Motion in Downtown Montrose. Theme to night is Men In Motion. There will be a car show, boats, atv's and man stuff of all sorts, Farmers markets and the normal booths set up by local businesses. Come support the town.
How bout I lighten things up a little with a joke of the day.
Cletus is passing by Billy Bob's hay barn one day when, through a gap in thedoor, he sees Billy Bob doing a slow and sensual striptease in front of an old green John Deere tractor.

Buttocks clenched, he performs a slow pirouette, and gently slides off first
the right strap of his overalls, followed by the left.  He then hunches his
shoulders forward and in a classic striptease move, lets his overalls fall
down to his hips, revealing a torn and frayed plaid shirt.  Then, grabbing
both sides of his shirt, he rips it apart to reveal his stained T-shirt
underneath.  With a final flourish, he tears the T-shirt from his body, and
hurls his baseball cap onto a pile of hay.

Having seen enough, Cletus rushes in and says,"What the heck are you doing,
Billy Bob?"

"Jeez, Cletus, ya scared the bejeezers out of me," says an obviously
embarrassed Billy Bob.  "But me'n the Ol' Lady been havin’ trouble lately in
the bedroom d'partment, and the therapist suggested I do 'something sexy to a tractor'."

To all a Great Day

Get Started Now!

If you worry about whether or not you have enough time, you certainly won’t have enough time. Just go ahead and get started.
If you wait until conditions are ideal, you’ll be waiting forever. Instead, go with what you have, from where you are, and you can make it work.
If you make yourself dependent on the support and approval of others, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. Be you, be authentic, be great in your own unique way, and let others think and say what they will.
There are plenty of powerful excuses and rationalizations. Yet the only thing they have the power to do is to stop you.
Nothing has the power to hold you back unless you choose to let it hold you back. Choose instead to find a way, and to live life on your own terms.
Going only with what’s easy and comfortable will soon bring you a whole lot of painful regret. Instead, go with what is great and beautiful and meaningful, and fill each moment with the richness you deserve.

Life's to short to sweat the small stuff. Life's to short to delay start right now. Start today. Don't miss out on something because you delay or make excuses why not to go ahead and do it.
To all a great Thursday.

Do What You Know

It doesn’t really matter what other people say or think about you. Go ahead and do what you know is best.
The disappointments of the past are no big deal, and your fears of the future exist only in your imagination. Step forward and do what you know you must do.
The excuses are so tired and worn out that they’ve become meaningless. Let them go, and let yourself take effective, productive, meaningful action.
Your dreams are calling you forward. Your highest vision of what life can be is yours precisely because you are the person who can bring it about.
When there’s a rich and shining dream on the inside, and you’re making your way toward it, life feels great. Even the pains and disappointments cannot bring you down, because you know they’re mere way points on the journey to the fulfillment you seek.
This moment right now is your opportunity to do what you know you must. This moment right now is the next step on the path to your most treasured dream.
Too All A Blessed Day.

Choos Achievment

Achievement is not complicated, and it is easily within your reach. Achievement is as close as your next action.
You are made to make a difference, and you have a constant desire to make a difference. So instead of sulking, instead of complaining, instead of filling your thoughts with empty wishes, fill your time with purposeful effort and make that difference.
Now is when achievement can happen, yet it doesn’t just happen on its own. Take the first little step, feel how good and right it feels, and suddenly you’re making it happen.
There’s nothing to be gained by waiting for the perfect time or the perfect conditions. Now is the perfect time because it is the time you have.
You can transform today into meaningful achievement, or you can transform it into painful regret. Make the effort to make the achievement happen, and you’ll thank yourself over and over again.
Achieve today, because you can and because it will lift your whole world higher. Achieve today, and experience life at its best.
Happy Tuesday to all. Hope everyone had a safe 4th of July.

Embrace Freedom Always

As beautiful and as powerful as it is, freedom is also a frightening thing. Because freedom demands your very best.
It’s much easier to be dependent, and much easier to just give up. It’s tempting to simply turn your troubles and your responsibilities over to someone else.
If you were to do that, however, nothing worth having would be left for you. If you turn your back on your freedom, you turn your back on the unique and essential beauty of who you are.
To live with freedom, independence, self-sufficiency and responsibility takes great effort, commitment, persistence and strength. Yet what it yields is the far greater experience of a rich and fulfilling life.
True freedom is a lot of work, and true freedom is worth every bit of it. It is in making the decisions, and in making the effort, and in living your own unique dreams that you achieve the life you truly long to live.
Though real freedom can be a little frightening, run out and embrace it with everything you have. For in that freedom, your highest and best possibilities are ready to come magnificently to life.

Happy 4th of July Everyone, Have a Safe and Fun Day.

Choose Excellence

How do you achieve excellence? By doing the right thing.
Excellence is the result of caring about what you do, and of putting your very best effort into what you care about. Excellence is an outward expression of inner integrity, and few things are more valuable than that.
Excellence is a choice you always have the option of making. Whatever your level of skill, whatever resources are available, you can take what you have and move forward with excellence.
Excellence is a product of your attitude. Excellence is a product of your passion and commitment.
A life devoted to excellence is not easy, and can at times be frustrating and painful. Yet a life without excellence is even worse, because the pain of regret for what could have been is a pain that never ceases.
If you’re going to spend the time and do the work anyway, choose to do it with excellence. Excellence is an investment that continues to pay dividends long after the effort has been made.
Choose Excellence. To all a safe and blessed 4th of July
